Galax
First United Methodist Church has recently begun its second century of ministry
and service to the folks in and beyond the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest
Virginia.
All that we are about is
rooted in being God's covenant people who take seriously worship, mission, and
service. Worship opportunities include each Sunday at 11:00 a.m., with an early
worship at 9:00 a.m., during warmer months of the year. In addition, we offer
a midweek service called Noonday at 12:05 p.m. and Bible Study at 6:00 p.m., each Wednesday. Special
seasonal worship services are also conducted.
